Starting May 7, I’m launching three open experiments to explore how communities can create with AI and get rewarded for it.
Goals
Encourage creativity.
Make it easy to jump in.
Reward top contributors. Earn ETH, plus long-term alignment with the channel’s token.
Build sustainable creative ecosystems. I’m especially interested in models where economic structures can sustain creative momentum. I hope one or more of these experiments continues beyond May: evolving into something self-funding, capable of supporting new art, stories, and tools. Each could grow into a mini-app, site, or creative platform. I want to make it possible for a group of people to keep creating together and build something of lasting value.
The three ways to participate
LumArt: Mint your own AI art, and join a growing collective of artists aligned around $LUM.
Arrowheads: Launch a Kickstarter-style creative project, raise initial funding, and align with the $ARROW community.
Luminary: Build a shared creative universe — open, evolving, and ready to be woven into AI agents and immersive worlds.
Each has its own Farcaster channel: /lumart, /arrow, /luminary
The shared structure
Create with AI, however much or little you want.
Engage. High-engagement participation gets rewarded with ETH.
Compete. Each track will have different contests; doing well earns more ETH and long-term alignment with the channel's token ($LUM, $ARROW, $LUMINARY).
What’s next
If this sounds interesting, the first step is simple: Follow the channels you're interested in, and start thinking about what you want to do:
/lumart - prepare some AI art to submit.
/arrow - get ready to pitch some creative project ideas you would want to pursue.
/luminary - work on short pitches for the luminary's world, story, visual style, etc.
I’ll be posting major updates and announcements for all three in /luminous too. The full kickoff, including detailed "how to participate" posts, goes out next Wednesday, and you will have a week to participate in each round. Each channel will run at least 3 week-long experiences.
Why now?
The possibilities for AI creativity are just getting started. Some of the most interesting experiments won’t happen in corporate labs or established studios. They’ll happen in places like these, on the frontiers.
May is a chance to start building the kind of creative spaces we want to see. Whether you want to mint art, launch a creative project, or help shape a living story, there’s a place for you.
Let’s make something great, together.
